एक दिन उस कंपनी में मोनिका नाम की लड़की भी अकाउंटैंट के पद के लिए चयनित हुयी. वह बहुत सुशिल और कर्मठ थी. उस ऑफिस के सभी उससे खुश थे. वह देखने में बहुत सूंदर थी मानो एक सूंदर बगीचा की एक सूंदर गुलाब की फूल.
इधर शाहिल को उससे एक दो दिन किसी काम वस मुलाकात हो गयी. शाहिल उसे मन ही मन बहुत चाहने लगा था. लेकिन वह थोड़ा बहुत डर के कारन उससे अपनी मन की बात नहीं बता पा रहा था. एक दिन उसने एक प्रेम पत्र लिखा और उस लड़की के अनुपस्थिति में उसके ऑफिस में जाकर उसके किसी महत्वपूर्ण डॉक्यूमेंट में रख दिया.
जब मोनिका अपने ऑफिस में आकर अपना कार्य आरम्भ की तो उसे वह प्रेम पत्र दिख पड़ा. वह उसे खोलकर पढ़ते ही चिल्ला कर बोली की जिसे ओफिस में आकर पत्र देने की हिम्मत हो तो वह मेरे पिता से मेरा हाथ मन कर दिखाए. बगल से शाहिल भी सुन रहा था.
जब अगले दिन सभी ऑफिस में आते है तो उसी वक्त मोनिका अपने ऑफिस के बॉस के सामने उस प्रेम पत्र को फाड् देती है और उसे बहुत भला बुरा कह कर अपने काम के लिए चले जाती है. यह देख कर शाहिल को बहुत आघात पहुँचता है. आज शाहिल को ऑफिस में कुछ भी मन नहीं लग रहा था. शाम को सभी अपने घर चले गए.
पुनः उसके अगले दिन जब मोनिका ऑफिस आ रही थी तब रास्ते में उसकी दुर्घटना हो गयी. वह बहुत घायल हो चुकी थी. तभी उसी रास्ते से शाहिल भी ऑफिस जा रहा था. रास्ते में अपने प्रियतमा को इस स्थिति में देख कर दंग रह गया. अबतक उसका बहुत खून निकल चूका था. वह जल्द से नजदीक के हॉस्पिटल में एडमिट करवाया.
तबतक में उसके माता पिता और भी वह पहुंच गए. डॉक्टर के रिपोर्ट के अनुसार उसे बहुत खून की कमी थी. उस दिन हॉस्पिटल के ब्लड बैंक में भी खून नहीं था. हॉस्पिटल के रिपोर्ट के अनुसार उसके खून से वहा किसी का भी मैच नहीं करता था. जब शाहिल के खून का जांच किया गया तो वह मैच कर गया. वह खून मोनिका को दिया गया.
जब इस बात की जानकारी मोनिका लगी तो वह खुश और शाहिल के प्रेम में इतनी दीवानी हुयी की वह शाहिल से मिलने के लिए अपने को रोक नहीं पायी.
